Masroor S.S.S Wins S.A.H.R.L Drama Competition

Masroor Senior Secondary School on Friday crowned the winners of Sinchu Alagie Home Red Cross Link annual drama competition, on the theme love.
The annual activity aimed to give young people the platform to showcase their talent. The competition brought together eight schools within Kombo North District. The winners when with a cash prize of D250, certificate and a first aid box.
Great talents were showcase on the day as audiences are entertained with performance of the various characters that performed to expectation in line with the theme of the competition. Ebrima Chune the Link Leader said the competition is aimed to support young people to showcase their talents and to raise fund for upcoming activities of the link as humanitarian organization rendering relief humanitarian support to the community.
Isatou B. Barry one of the characters of the winner school said “I feel very delighted to be awarded the crown but also not surprise because they work for it. This is show that Masroor in any competition we ready for a win”.
Biram S. Jobe, one of the pioneers of the link who double as the Sinchu Alagie Home Red Cross Link Coordinator said the link since its establishment has been rendering relief humanitarian service to the community through First Aid Services, cleaning exercise and other humanitarian services to the community of Sinchu Alagie.
Mr. Jobe further advised young people to continue the moment as Red Cross isn’t an organization prompt to any as gain but humanitarian organization aimed to alleviate human suffering were ever it might be found through the power of humanity.
Sinchu Alagie Home Red Cross Link was established in 2007 under the auspices of the Kombo North District of the Gambia Red Cross Society with the objective of alleviating human suffering through the power humanity and guided by 7 principles of the Red Cross Movement.
